DERMALOG is one of the leading international companies in the field of biometric identification systems. Our business model, which has been successful for over 25 years, is based on three important pillars:

• In contrast to many suppliers of biometric concepts, our work is not based exclusively on software and hardware. We also incorporate human biology and morphology in our technological research and development work. This is clear from our name, which is made up of the Greek "derma" for skin and "logistic" for mathematical logic.
  


• DERMALOG's expertise lies in coming up with technology concepts which are verifiably good and consistently innovative. This can be seen in the development of the widest product range of deployable techniques, the largest number of biometric patents as well as in our worldwide installations (e.g. the most modern AFIS in South America, forgery-proof personal identification with biometric data).
  


• As a company led by its owner and founder, quick decision-making is the norm at DERMALOG. In addition to management, the research, development, support and marketing departments are based at our headquarters in Hamburg (Germany). Marketing takes place on a worldwide basis and is directed from the Hamburg head office by means of strategic alliances with representatives, system integrators, local software firms or general contractors. In addition, we have set up a branch office in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) for the Asian market, as a result of the growing volume of orders.
